The till your takeaway
deserves.

Fast at the counter, honest in the back office, and still selling when the broadband goes down. Your orders, your takings and your customers stay on your own machine.

Runs on your own hardware · Works offline · Your data never leaves the shop

Why we built it this way

A till that stops selling
is worse than useless.

Most modern tills live in someone else's data centre. When the line drops, the shop stops. We think that is the wrong trade, so AlphaTill runs on the computer in front of you and keeps taking orders whatever the internet is doing.

The same goes for your figures. Your menu, your takings and your customers' details sit in a file on your machine — not on our servers, because we don't have a copy and can't get one.

Built for the rush

Everything the counter needs,
nothing it doesn't.

One screen handles collection, delivery, the aggregators and the tables — then quietly takes care of the paperwork.

Kitchen tickets & VAT receipts

Tap the items, take cash or card, and the kitchen ticket and customer receipt print themselves. VAT is worked out per item, so hot food and cold drinks are each taxed correctly on the same bill.

X & Z reports

Check cash, card and VAT totals at any point with an X report. Run a Z to close the day, write the accountant's copy and start tomorrow clean — or let it happen by itself at 4am.

Table service

Start a tab on a table, send it to the kitchen, add to it through the evening and settle it at the end. The same screen the counter uses, so nobody learns two systems.

Five order channels

Collection, delivery, Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat, each counted separately — so at the end of the week you know exactly where the money came from.

Telegram alerts

The till opens, an order lands, a refund goes through — the owner gets a message naming the staff member, wherever they are. Knowing without hovering.

Records you actually own

Every day is written to CSV and JSON on your machine, ready for the accountant. Point the optional backup at your own Google Drive — your account, not ours.

From anywhere

See the shop from your sofa.

You don't have to stand behind the counter to know how the night is going. Open the reports on your phone and see the day's takings, what sold, who rang it up and what is still owed.

  • Cash, card and VAT totals as they happen
  • Takings broken down by staff member
  • Every order kept, searchable months later
  • Reprint any receipt, however old

The unglamorous part

Built for the bad night,
not just the good one.

Anything can sell on a quiet Tuesday. What matters is what happens when it all goes wrong at once.

The broadband dies

Nothing happens. AlphaTill runs on your machine, so orders, printing and reports carry on exactly as before. Even a licence problem only ever shows a notice — your till is never switched off remotely.

The printer plays up

Tickets are sent to the printer in its own language rather than through Windows drawing them as a picture, which is why they come out instantly and correctly. Choose one printer or two, and how big the text prints.

Someone forgets to cash up

The day closes itself at 4am, writes the Z report and files the accountant's copy. Nobody has to remember at the end of a fourteen-hour shift.

Ready when you are

Give your counter the
till it deserves.

Every shop is different, so we quote for yours rather than publishing a list. Tell us how many tills and which order channels you use, and we'll come back with a price.
